Shawn M. Holzapfel

Shawn M. Holzapfel, age 54, of 6th Ave., Hempfield Twp., Greenville, passed away Saturday evening, February 1, 2025, in UPMC Horizon, Greenville following a brief illness.

He was born December 16, 1970 in Greenville to Frederick G. and Delores “Dot” (Peden) Holzapfel and was a 1990 graduate of Greenville High School.

Shawn was a member of St. Michael Roman Catholic Church, Greenville. He enjoyed hunting and riding motorcycles.

Shawn is survived by his parents, Frederick and Dot Holzapfel, of Greenville; two sons, Cameron Holzapfel and Johnathan Holzapfel; a sister, Jeannie (Tom) Carey of Clarks Mills; and a brother, Rodney (Bonnie) Holzapfel of Kinsman, OH.

Services:

Per Shawn’s wishes, Cremation was chosen, and no services will be held. Inurnment will be in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Greenville.
