Timothea J. “Tim” Merrill, age 76, of Hilltop Rd., W. Salem Twp., Greenville, passed away Friday morning, November 26, 2021 in her residence after a brief illness.

She was born in Pittsburgh, PA on March 23, 1945 to Charles L. and Jean A. (Huckestein) Ketterer. Tim was a 1963 graduate of Evans City High School and received her Nursing Degree in 1966 from Butler County School of Nursing. She was employed as an RN for forty-two years retiring from UPMC Greenville in 2010. Tim was a member of St. Michael Roman Catholic Church, Greenville, where she had served as a greeter and an extra ordinary minister. Her interests included, reading, bicycling, making jewelry, knitting, the outdoors, traveling, supporting and attending her grandchildren's sporting events and spending time with family.

On October 15, 1966 she married Richard L. “Rick” Merrill, he passed away on August 19, 2012. She is survived by two daughters, Lara A. Smith and her husband William of Four Oaks, NC and Renee Merrill and her husband Russ of Greenville, a son, Dave Merrill and his wife Heather-Marie of Seven Valleys, PA, two sisters, Alice Green and her husband Dale of Evans City, PA and Virginia Bryant and her husband David of Austin, PA, four grandchildren, Dakota Smith, Adriana Peedin, Riley Merrill and Braden Merrill, a great-grandchild, Ryker Smith and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
