Wanda J. Stepanich, age 94, of Greenville, passed away Friday morning, July 21, 2023 in St. Paul's Senior Living Community.

She was born in Mount Union, PA on August 28, 1928 a daughter of George and Emma (Rupert) Herrington. She was a 1947 Graduate of Mount Union High School and on June 25, 1951, Wanda married George Stepanich, Jr., he survives.

Wanda was employed as a sales clerk at May's Clothing Store and Gibson Furniture and also was employed as the first meter maid in Greenville for 8 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Greenville where she sang in the choir, taught Sunday School, served as a Trustee and would help decorate the church. Wanda enjoyed collecting dolls and tea pots, home decorating and entertaining, traveling and her pet dogs.

In addition to her husband of 72 years, she is survived two daughters, Vickie Schupska and her husband David of Roaming shores, OH, Brenda Carrozzi of Farrell, PA; a son Mark Stepanich and his wife Diane of Prosper, TX; a sister Barbara Cartee of Hagerstown, MD; a brother, Richard Herrington of Hagerstown, MD; five grandchildren; Daniel Stepanich, Erika Stepanich, Christa Wheaton, Courtney Norris and Jenna McCready, ten great grandchildren; Peyton Stepanich, Josie Stepanich, Hayden Wheaton, Nate Wheaton, Shane Wheaton, Dominic Wheaton, Brielle Wheaton, Gage Carrozzi and Labrae Norris and one great-great grandchild; Lena Carrozzi. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother; George Herringtonand a son-in-law; Fred Carrozzi.
