Wendy Richardson

Wendy R. Richardson, age 52, of China Grove, NC, passed away Tuesday September 14, 2021 after a 2 ½ year courageous battle with cancer.

She was born in Greenville on April 23, 1969 to Donald E. and Cynthia M. (Holcombe) Richardson. She was a graduate of Jamestown High School and had been employed as a bookkeeper at Grove Supply Co. in China Grove, NC. Wendy was a faithful member of Passion Ecclesia Church, Kannapolis, NC and her faith was an inspiration to many. Her family, friends, and her church will miss her more than words can express.

Wendy enjoyed sewing and had sewed many sweatshirts. She also enjoyed playing guitar and loved her pet bird “Beau”.

Survivors include her father; Donald E. Richardson and his wife Joanne of Jamestown, her precious beloved brother; Raymond E. Richardson and his wife Catherine of Greenville, nephew Griffin and niece Sidney, both of who she was extremely proud of every day, two aunts; Paula Lee of Sharon and Joan Roberts and her husband Bill of Greenville and her two very best friends; Karen Huffman and Sharon Self, who she lived with while they took care of her during her graceful and courageous battle. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, her mother, her uncle; Jimmy Lee and a niece; Madeline Rae Richardson.

Private family services will be held. Burial will be held in Shenango Valley Cemetery.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Loutzenhiser-Jordan Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 366-368 S. Main St., Greenville, PA 16125.
