Jamestown Veteran's Honor Guard will render military
honors at the conclusion of the service. Burial will be
in Hampton Cemetery, Pittsburgh, PA.
All in attendance are required to wear a mask.
William J. “Jack” Faulhaber, age 97, formerly of Gibsonia, PA, passed away Sunday morning, January 31, 2021 in Wesbury United Methodist Retirement Community.
He was born in Pittsburgh on June 11, 1923 a son of Clarence and Ruth (Eyles) Faulhaber. He was a 1941 graduate of Etna High School and served his country in the United States Army as an aviation mechanic during WWII and served with the 351 st Bomb Group of the 8 th Air Force. On June 21, 1946 Jack married the former Jean D. Demmer, she passed away October 14, 2020. He was an active member of Hampton Presbyterian Church where he served as an Elder. He was past master of John E. Mair Lodge #729 F&AM in Mars, PA. He was an avid golfer and had two hole-in-ones in his lifetime.
Jack is survived by a daughter, Janet Murphy and her husband Paul of Richmond, VA; two sons, William Faulhaber and his wife Callie of Texas, David Faulhaber and his wife Patti of Jamestown; a brother, Robert Faulhaber of Sarasota, FL; nine grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, two children Donald Faulhaber and an infant son, two brothers Charles “Bud” Faulhaber and Carl Faulhaber.
