William C. Weaver, age 86, of 339 W. Jamestown Rd., W. Salem Twp., and formerly of Sykesville, PA, passed away Tuesday evening, November 7, 2023 in St. Paul’s Senior Living Community. He was born in Greenville on March 4, 1937 to Russell F. and Bertha (Stewart) Weaver.

Bill was a graduate of Penn High School and had attended Penn State University. He was employed as a truck driver for over 40 years and had previously worked in maintenance for over 15 years at the Bethel Baptist Church in Sykesville, where he was a member and also served as a Deacon. Bill married the former Georgia A. Feldbar, she passed away December 27, 2018. They had been married for 36 years.

He is survived by two daughters, Cathy Stump and her husband John of Beaufort, SC and Connie Franklin and her husband Jim of Pittsburgh, PA; a son, Curt Weaver and his wife Robyn of Greenville; two step-children, Matthew Baumgratz of Concord, NH and Heather Meyer and her husband James of Greensburg, PA; two brothers, Richard Weaver of Greenville and Robert Weaver and his wife Nancy of Seattle, WA and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, a brother Russell Weaver and a sister Maxine Landfried.
